MAY ON THE MOVE

This Was · May 2026

May kept us busy in all the right ways. We hosted two Vélo Klub social rides and both turned out better than we could have hoped for. More than 80 riders joined each time, the weather showed up twice, and so did a great atmosphere. We also took part in the annual street sale in Mechelen, bringing the store outside and spending a weekend in the streets of our hometown. And while all that was happening, the new Vélo Klub collection arrived and got the spot it deserves in the store.

One of the highlights of the month was the 1000 KM for Kom op tegen Kanker, a four-day cycling event that starts and finishes in our hometown. We entered two teams and helped raise money for cancer research, with Evert and Roelof, two of our founders, each riding a 125 km stage. Four days on the bike for a cause that matters, and our small contribution to the more than €7.4 million raised during the event.

See you soon,
